Andrew Burton is Professor of Fine Art and Newcastle University in England, a university with close links to Xiamen University.

He is best known for his sculptures constructed from tiny bricks which have been exhibited internationally. In 2010 he was commissioned to create the sculpture ‘Jug’ for the Shanghai World Expo.
