Zheng Wenbin was born in 1971. He studied oil painting at the Xiamen University Art College where he graduated in 1996. The last few years Wen Bin worked for the Xiamen Daily but recently he quitted his job there to work fulltime on his art. This exhibition at the Chinese European Art Center is his first exhibition.

About his exhibition the following could be said：The world of the real and the artificial is what this is about. To observe how living people can mangle a puppet made of plastic. Or how the so called real world appear to us sometimes as being less present than the artificial world. How a plastic puppet can become so closed to us and yet being so different. Sometimes it seems as if our artificial creation is growing beyond our limits.

Zheng Wenbin is very devoted to his art and it is obvious that his way of looking is original and honest. One can only be curious to follow his development in the future.
