Fahrettin was born and raised in the eastern part of Turkey. Since July 1991 he has been living and working in Holland. He graduated from the Photography Department at the Gerrit Rietveld Art Academy in Amsterdam (1994-1998). From 2000 to 2001 he was a participant at the Rijksakademie Van Beeldende Kunsten in Amsterdam. <\/p>\n
